The Rockets Landing Triathlon/Duathlon is Richmond Multisports signature event located in historic downtown Richmond, Virginia and is the fifth triathlon in the Richmond Multisports series. Rocketts Tri is the 2011 USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic Region Club Championship with a $5250 prize purse. Post race party band Moosa, beer, wine, to benefit Neighborhood Resource Center in Fulton Hill. Race and party to make a difference for low income families in Richmond’s east end and the kids that live there. Home of the new half iron distance tri end of September of 2012! This event offers a renowned course that canvasses the city’s culture and history from urban panoramas to rolling pastoral landscapes.
